Being appointed as a fire marshal involves more than wearing a high-visibility vest or checking rooms during a fire drill.
Your fire marshals need to understand the hazards within their workplace, the precautions that help prevent a fire and the actions they should take if the alarm sounds. They must also understand the limits of their role and know when their priority should be raising the alarm, assisting evacuation and calling the fire and rescue service.

practical fire extinguisher training
A practical fire extinguisher session can be added to suitable on-site courses for £150 + VAT.
This gives attendees an opportunity to handle and operate training equipment under controlled conditions while reinforcing the circumstances in which attempting to use an extinguisher may or may not be appropriate.
certification
Everyone who successfully completes the standard course receives a Phoenix Fire & Safety certificate of completion.
Accredited certification is also available if required. Please tell us when requesting your quotation if your organisation requires an accredited Level 2 qualification, as this must be agreed as part of the booking.
