Evacuation chair training DELIVERED UK-WIDE BY FIREFIGHTERS

Designed and delivered by experienced operational firefighters, and level 3 qualified teaching and assessment instructors. This course combines classroom-based instruction with practical exercises designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the use of evacuation equipment, ensuring you are prepared to safely evacuate individuals during emergencies. 

This course covers essential legislation, planning, and practical skills required for effective evacuation. Our expert trainers will ensure you have a thorough understanding and practical experience, enabling you to confidently handle evacuation equipment in an emergency to ensure the safety of all individuals in your care.

Our expert trainers come equipped with their own computer, and a projector can be provided upon request to facilitate a seamless learning experience.

- Understand the legislation mandating the use of evacuation equipment and the importance of proper training

- Learn the various reasons necessitating an evacuation

- Gain insights into effective fire evacuation planning

- Receive training on the purpose and use of refuge points

- Understand what an evacuation chair/sledge is and who can benefit from its use

- Witness a demonstration of how to use your specific evacuation chair/sledge

- Engage in hands-on practice with the equipment, supervised by a professional who will provide guidance and answer any questions

 A certificate of attendance will be awarded upon completion of the training. 

We offer comprehensive evacuation training that covers more than just evac chairs. Whether your site uses evacuation chairs, sledges, or rescue mats, our experienced firefighter trainers will demonstrate safe and effective use for each.

This flexible training ensures your team is confident using whichever equipment is available on site.

Please allow up to 2 hours. Evening and weekend training is also available for an additional charge to suit all business types.
