Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) training

Providing expert training on Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) and Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFRA) to help businesses and organisations meet their legal obligations while ensuring the safety of individuals who may need assistance during an emergency.

Our training is delivered by operational firefighters who bring real-world experience in fire safety and emergency response. Each instructor is Level 3 Teach & Assess qualified and an accredited fire safety trainer, ensuring high-quality, practical, and engaging training sessions.


What This Training Covers:


  • Understanding PEEPs & PCFRA – What they are, why they’re essential, and how they differ.
  • Legal Requirements & Compliance – Your responsibilities under fire safety legislation, including the Equality Act 2010 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
  • Identifying Individuals Who Require a PEEP – Assessing mobility, sensory, cognitive, and medical needs.
  • Developing & Implementing Effective PEEPs – Creating tailored evacuation plans for different scenarios.
  • Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFRA) – Understanding individual risks and how to mitigate them.
  • Roles & Responsibilities – Ensuring staff know their duties during an emergency evacuation.
  • Fire Doors and compartmentation - The safety and effectiveness of fire doors and their importance in an evacuation.
  • Refuge Areas - What they are and why they are there.

Duration

Please allow up to 2 hours. Evening and weekend training is also available for an additional charge to suit all business types.
