FIRE safety awareness TRAINING

Designed and delivered by experienced operational firefighters, our Fire Safety Awareness Course is designed to equip you with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to fires in the workplace. 

Delivered by experienced operational firefighters, this course covers all essential aspects of fire safety to ensure you are well-prepared to handle fire-related incidents effectively.

Our expert trainers come equipped with their own computer, and a projector can be provided upon request. 

- Basic fire safety and emergency procedures
- Identifying the primary causes of workplace fires
- Outlining the main costs of fires for employers, employees, and society
- Your duties related to fire safety, including the responsibilities of the fire marshal and actions required during an emergency
- Actions to take in the event of a fire, including raising the alarm and contacting emergency services
- The principles of fire risk control
- Key elements of fire risk management
- How the components of the ‘fire triangle’ can be used to control fire risks
- Active and passive fire risk control measures
- Fire prevention measures to minimise fire risks
- The basics of practical fire safety
- Safe operating parameters for portable firefighting equipment
- Simple checks to ensure fire safety equipment is serviceable and safe to use

Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion after the course, in an electronic format. This will include both the attendee’s name and the company name that the course was arranged by. 

An option for a fully accredited by NUCO, Ofqual certificate is available at an additional charge of £10 pp, although it is recommended you discuss this with us as it may not be needed.

Please allow up to 2.5 hours. Evening and weekend training is also available for an additional charge to suit all business types.
