Strengthen your emergency response capability with our Basic Life Support Training, delivered by experienced operational emergency responders.
This course provides essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills required to respond confidently to medical emergencies in the workplace. Delegates will learn how to recognise cardiac arrest, perform effective CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), manage choking incidents and identify other life-threatening conditions that require immediate action.
Our training combines clear, classroom-based instruction with realistic, hands-on practical scenarios. Participants will practise CPR techniques and AED deployment in a controlled environment, building the confidence and competence needed to act quickly while waiting for the arrival of the emergency services.
Basic Life Support training supports employers in meeting their responsibilities under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, which require adequate and appropriate first aid provision for employees. Ensuring staff are trained in BLS significantly improves outcomes in the critical first few minutes of an emergency.
Our trainers attend fully equipped to deliver professional, engaging training sessions. A projector can be provided upon request to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience at your premises.
Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion after the course, in an electronic format. This will include both the attendee’s name and the company name that the course was arranged by.
Please allow up to 3 hours.
Evening and weekend training is also available for an additional charge to suit all business types.
